Tank Timeline uses a local journal. There is no Tank Timeline registration or account-deletion process.
Backup and transfer
Open Settings → Your data → Import, export and restore. JSON backup export and JSON/CSV import are free. CSV export requires Pro. Keep an independent copy before replacing a device or restoring data. Review CSV previews and mappings before importing. Photos are included in JSON backups, not a CSV spreadsheet.
Purchases
Use Restore purchases in Settings or the Pro screen with the App Store account used to buy Pro. Restoring Pro does not recover journal data. Manage monthly renewal in your Apple account's subscription settings. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. Request billing refunds through Apple.
Cancelling renewal keeps Pro available through the paid period. After Pro expires, choose to renew, buy lifetime access, or keep one aquarium on the free plan. Nothing is automatically deleted while you decide. Before confirming deletion of other aquariums, save a free JSON backup. A later Pro purchase does not recover deleted records.
Local data
Settings → Local data → Delete all local data removes the local journal and app photo copies. It does not delete original library photos or exported files, and it does not cancel subscriptions. The release app does not automatically synchronize the journal between devices; use a JSON backup to move or preserve records.
Notifications and troubleshooting
Check notification permissions in iOS Settings. In-app due tasks remain available when alerts are disabled. Daily, weekly, selected-weekday and monthly alerts on days 1–28 use repeating system schedules; custom intervals, month-end dates and postponed exceptions use a rolling queue that is replenished when the app opens. Delivery still depends on iOS limits and settings. Include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version and a description when contacting support. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary private notes and photos.
